This FAQ aims to address commonly asked questions in line with the upcoming server merge on March 23, 6am.  Listed below are the mechanics of what will happen once the merge is complete and what players might expect upon logging in to the new servers,  Ohn and Edoneh.
Akhma+Marea = Ohn
Torian+Silva+Syrephis = Edoneh

I. Character Related Questions

1: What will happen to our characters in both servers?

After the merge, only the top 4 characters (across all servers) in one account (determined by character level) from all servers will be retained. This means that characters in excess of the top 4 (across all servers) will be deleted and cannot be restored.

2: I have 3 level 99 characters in Ahkma and 2 level 99 characters in Marea. Since there are only 4 characters that will be retained and I have 5 level 99 characters, which characters will be restored and which characters will be deleted?

In the case that there are characters from both servers that have the same level, the character with the higher EXP points will be selected for retention. And if characters possess the same amount of EXP points, the character that was created earlier will be retained.

PLEASE READ – IMPORTANT NOTICE: Players are strongly advised to delete other nuisance and/or low level characters and retain only a total of 4 “main” characters across all servers before the server merge to avoid character “loss or deletion”.

3: What will happen to our character names?

As part of server merge process, all characters will be automatically renamed by the system during the merge. This is necessary in order to determine one’s server of origin and to prevent duplicate names and bugs. The naming conventions for the characters are as follows:

Characters from Akhma server will have the “@AK” suffix (ex. Krieger@AK)
Characters from Marea server will have the “@MA” suffix (ex. Krieger@MA)
Characters from Silva server will have the “@SI” suffix (ex. Krieger@SI)
Characters from Torian server will have the “@TO” suffix (ex. Krieger@TO)
Characters from Syrephis server will have the “@SY” suffix (ex. Krieger@SY)

Any character name that will exceed the 14 letter character limit will have its name reduced accordingly.

Ex.  A character named Junniejunniejunnie will be renamed to junniejunnieju@AK

Note:
Special services for Name Change requests will be on massive SALE 1 week after the server merge for you to change your characters’ names to your preferred names.

Name Change Mechanics for players who cannot change their name due to “Non Transferable items like FSA, Talismans, etc will be posted separately.

4: I left my character in a dungeon or a field when I logged off. Is there anything that will happen to my character?

All characters will be moved to their race’s starting town bind stone during the merge.

II. Item Related Questions

5: Will our items be retained?

Yes, but only for the retained characters. Only the items in the possession of the retained characters (both equipped and those in the inventory) will remain after the merge. Excess items (items in other characters that might be deleted) should be placed in the Treasury prior to the merge to prevent item loss.

6: What about our Treasury (character storage/trunk)?

Treasury/Storage accounts of both servers will be merged. All items will remain and any items in excess of the Treasury slots will be on queue and will be accessible once space is freed up in the Treasury (similar to the Event Inventory).

Note:
Queuing Time for treasury items is at least 5 minutes after spaces has been freed up. Also, account need to totally quit the game (Alt+X) and then log in again.

Items located in 36 slots Treasury bag (event item) will be moved to the Default Treasury bag. The bag itself will be reimbursed via the Item Mall inventory.

7: I have several items in the Consignment NPC. Will the items disappear?

No. All items in the Consignment shop will be transferred to the Treasury.

8: What about my sealed characters?

All sealed characters will be unsealed during the merge.

9: I have items being sold in the Exchange Market. What will happen to those items?

All items currently being sold in the Exchange Market will be moved to the Exchange Inventory.

10: I have sealed crones in the Exchange Market. What will happen to my crones?

Sealed crones will be moved to the Treasury.

ADVISORY:
TO PREVENT ITEM LOSS, WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT ALL ITEMS AND CRONES FROM THE CONSIGNMENT, INVENTORY, AND GUILD BANK BE MOVED TO THE TREASURY PRIOR TO THE MERGE.

III. Guild Related Questions

11: Will guilds be retained?

All guilds will be purged. Therefore it is advised that the guild leader withdraw the guild funds prior to the merge.

12: Our guild holds a territory, will it be retained?

All guilds will be purged and as such, ownership of territories will be reset as well.

IV. Other Concerns and Additional Questions

13: Will my character’s friends list be wiped?

Yes. All characters’ friend list will be removed during the merge.

14: What will happen to my Hit List?

All characters listed in your character hit list will be cleared as well (both Killed and Killed by).

15. What will happen to my Item Mall inventory? Several items will “auto-activate” the timer like Lucky Stone, Talismans., etc once taken from Mall inventory.

All Items in Item Mall inventory are safe – these items will not disappear from your Mall inventory even after the merge.

16. What time the server merge will start?

Officially, server merge will commence at 6am of March 23 and all Rohan servers will be closed to public.

17. How about the Item Mall? Exchange Market, Game Parlor and Special Services?

All Rohan related services like Item Mall, EM and GP will be closed to the public during the server merge maintenance. Item Mall will be up approximately 24-48 hours after the new servers become accessible to the public while it may take longer for EM and GP.
