Several Updates on the Overupgrading and Connection Issues Related to the Hero I Client

We’d like to fill you in on what’s happening in the background regarding the overupgrading issue as well as some of the connection issues related to the Hero I client.

First, we apologize for the long downtime last Saturday, April 20. We had to bring the servers down to investigate the cause and apply possible fixes to the upgrading rate. We weren’t able to fully close the issue of the upgrading rate, but our investigation last Saturday yielded some insights on how to solve the issue. Our technical team is still working on this matter as of this writing.

Our top priority right now is to investigate the overupgraded items in the hope of reverting them to their normal status before the incident occurred. We think that this would be a better solution than the game rollback that majority of you have been suggesting, as the rollback would affect thousands of innocent users and has great technical risks. The tracking and investigation is on-going; we will announce full details of our resolution as soon as it is prepared. In the meantime, please avoid transactions involving the overupgraded items.

Lastly, we are aware that some of you still have issues connecting to the game using the Hero I client. The dominant case appears to be the http_server_status_error, which appears in the account login screen. We encourage you to try some of our suggestions in this thread ( http://rohan.levelupgames.ph/main.php/20130419/advisory-hero-i-installation-errors/).

We also got feedback that our suggestions in the post above did not solve the issue for everyone, and there are cases where they get the error on a certain time, or when they are logging in the game at a specific place or area. We will get back to you with some more explanation and resolution on this as soon as we get them.

We know that there is a lot of negativity going on around the community because of the issues, but we are determined to sort things out and resolve them one by one.

We thank those who have continuously expressed their concerns, comments, and suggestions via our Facebook page and the forum. We can’t reply to all of them, but we are reading your comments and take them into consideration.

We truly appreciate your patience and continuous support.

Yours very sincerely,
ROHAN PH Team
